I Found This Poem

I am nobody

I want but do not have

I don’t belong to myself

I’m here to experience

“Pretend to give a fuck, smile”

And for others, laugh

Distraction is but a top coat

That chips off the nail bed

Re apply re apply re apply

What changes?

Constant phases

But color won’t fade in

It only stains in

And those nail appointments

Will never let you never forget

The way it looks underneath

The only purpose of life

Is to express thyself in heights

To express thyself in strife

The time great creations come alive

While you in turn die

Be it may, the only thing to string you along

What does pain matter when we all will sing our song

In death, what is truly lost

When being alive is the true cost

Being here is the slowest burn

While you show up in times of dire

No friend will ever show in your final hour

They speak of twin flames from lives prior

What’s been mistaken is actually hellfire

And corporations are the deepest pit

So long as you have a boss, an ass you shall always kiss

The demons amuck resemble no difference

To the vessels of which they have no preference

And yet we lie to the child and say the world is bliss

There’s to explore and change for the better more

That “change” implies the lie

That another child is bound to die

That a mother is bound to mourn

That a father is too absent to be torn

And all the perversion

And all the oblivion

And all the upkeep of something that is meant to fall on its head

Running from nothing

Running from nothing

And then you’re dead

But you are here now

Reading my very existence
